The Classic Shave Company Announces the Opening of Beverly Hills Shop

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 20, 2010 -- The Classic Shave Company announced today the official opening of its Beverly Hills store located at 9635 Brighton Way, Beverly Hills, CA 90210. This is the company’s first store of what is expected to be a number of locations nationwide. A successor organization to The Shave of Beverly Hills, which recently filed for bankruptcy, The Classic Shave Company provides men’s grooming services, including haircuts, classic shaves, facials and related services. The barbers and staff from The Shave are now working at The Classic Shave Company.

“We were very fortunate to be able to secure space quickly and relocate the entire staff when the owners of The Shave unexpectedly filed for bankruptcy,” commented Tina Akhkashian, Chief Operating Officer of The Classic Shave Company. “We have not been able to inform all the clients about the move, but we hope they will slowly find us. They tend to be fairly loyal to their barbers,” Akhkashian continued.

The Classic Shave Company was formed in the wake of the demise of The Shave of Beverly Hills. Tina Akhkashian was previously managing The Shave and has assumed operational responsibility for The Classic Shave Company. “We liked the concept of a premium men’s grooming business and thought we could build upon some of the successful efforts of The Shave. Unfortunately, that business was simply too encumbered by past liabilities to continue,” explained Ms Akhkashian. “But, with the same staff and services, from the clients’ perspective there will be little change other than the location and name,” she added.

The Classic Shave Company includes all the amenities previously found at The Shave and in addition, features a mezzanine level which houses a men’s lounge where you can hang out, have a beer, play some pool, get haircut or a shave and watch sports on T.V. It is a place for guys. It is also a great place to send a guy. Gift certificates are available.

Ownership of The Shave had previously sold memberships and gift certificates that are now worthless. The Classic Shave Company intends to credit holders of gift certificates $.50 for every dollar of gift certificate value from The Shave of Beverly Hills.
